Employee Experience Design

When employees feel disconnected, undervalued or unheard, motivation fades fast.

He does this using the 3-step Employee Experience (EX) Framework, a simple, evidence-based framework designed to help you understand what’s really happening in your workplace, focus on what matters most, and stay ahead of issues before they escalate.

The first step is listening to your people.


Through surveys and facilitated focus groups, we gather rich quantitative and qualitative data to understand how employees actually experience work — not how leaders assume they do.


This gives you clear insight into what’s working, what’s not, and where frustration or disengagement is building.

This step focuses on taking practical action.


To ensure time, energy and resources are used effectively, the focus is on one priority area at a time.


Charlie uses human-centred design to co-create new processes, systems or practices with key stakeholders. By involving end-users in shaping how work is done, solutions are practical, adopted more quickly, and create a better experience for everyone.

During the last step, ongoing check-in keeps you ahead of issues, builds trust with employees, and embeds continuous improvement into the way you lead and manage people.


Quarterly pulse surveys are used to track whether actions are making a difference, identify emerging risks early and adjust priorities as the organisation evolves.

Making improvements to your Employee Experience

Once priorities are agreed, Charlie will work with you to strengthen the parts of your employee experience that will make the biggest difference. Support is always tailored to your organisation, your people and your goals.


Working with end users, Charlie facilitates workshops to co-design the new ways of working. These workshops include the following areas:
